Merry Christmas Morning!

We had a lovely Christmas morning at our house this year ( as we do every year!). Santa was also lovely to me - and he apparently reads my blog!

Now I have no excuse not to catch up on  my Daily December!!

But first, a layout of our Christmas morning!  I am trying to use more than a few photos on my layouts, but I admit I still love the single layout!  Using 2.5 inch square photos meant I was able to get 7 photos on the single layout!

I used the Sparkle and Shine papers from CTMH and my Artbooking Cricut Cartridge, along with a bit of sparkly ribbon from Target!

Now to get back to that Daily December!

Happy Day!

Only a year behind. . .

I tried for years to be a chronological scrapbooker.  I was diligent, I was organized - I was overwhelmed!  Now I take a more relaxed approach - I scrap what I like, what fits the product I want to use, what catches my fancy.  It has made my hobby a lot more enjoyable - and I am free of the "i must catch up" mentality that is a creativity inhibitor in my life!

So here is a layout of my lovely kiddos from LAST Christmas.  Still waiting for my printer to be replaced, so I thought - why not scrap last year's photos?  Genius - practical and in keeping with the festive season!!

I used the CTMH Frosted Workshop on the Go for this one - A great kit that comes with lots of goodies, plus instructions for a double layout, which I of course chose not to use! (That would be too easy!!)

And a little close up of the large snowflake:

Loving my Cricut Artiste Cartridge - I used it to cut the snowflakes and the snowflake border.  Make life SOOOOO easy.  It took me a while to become a convert - but I am hooked now!

Merry Christmas everyone - I am looking forward to some quality time with family and maybe a crafty moment or two over the holidays.  ( and I am still hoping for that printer from Santa. . . I haven't been very naughty at all!!)

Happy Day,
Jacquelin

Daily(?) December Fail and a layout!

Hi everyone!

If good intentions were gold, I would be rich!  My printer is giving me trouble and so I currently am stuck on Day three of my December Daily - kinda like the movie Groundhog Day!  Once I have it printing in more than pink, I will post my pics of my December Daily!  Sheesh - completely frustrating!  Maybe Santa will bring me a new printer for Christmas!  Santa, are you reading this????

Instead today I have a layout I made with the Laughing Lola line from CTMH.  I love purple, so this is awesome for me!  I used some photos from my daughter Hannah's adventure with Me to We this past summer - she spent some time with a group from her school working with a local community to build a school in Ecuador - I think it is was a life changing experience for her - so much learning and, as you can tell from the photos, a chance to connect with some pretty amazing kids!  So proud of her!

Here you go!

More Daily December to come - and Santa - that new printer????

Happy Day!

Daily December Day 3 ( and a winner!)

It's Day three and as promised I finished Days 1 and 2 with their photos, and Day 3 is done, too - my lovely little kitty climbed the tree and I caught her in the act!  We don't even have the decorations on yet, so it could be a crazy time over the next few weeks!

Here is the photo evidence:

She is so darn cute - it is hard to be mad at her, but she and her partner in
crime better stay out of the tree!

Here is my Day 3:

And the completed pages 2 and 1:

And now. . .

Daily December Day 2

Hello!
It's Daily December Day 2!  It sure is hard to believe it is December!!!  So much to do and so little time!  I hope your holiday preparations are going well, and that you are making a few great memories along the way!  Don't forget to document the m in a mini or on a layout.  Often, it is the little moment we look back on and remember with such happiness.
Here is my page for today:

I love the Cricut Artbooking overlays - so fun! And EASY -
for a slightly lazy scrapper like me - PERFECT!

I also have a few holiday cards from the Frosted Workshop on the Go Kit -
3 designs, 5 cards each and voila - 15 cards in no time!

Super easy and lots of fun to make!  Tomorrow I PROMISE I will post the finished Daily December pages, and also the name of the of the winner of my

Daily December Day 1

I love December!  All of the sights, sounds and smells of the season put me into the holiday spirit!  Every year I make a Daily December mini album to capture the ordinary and the special of each day leading up to Christmas.

In process:

This year I am using the Sparkle and Shine collection from the CTMH Holiday mini catalogue to put my book together!

Here is Day 1 (I will put today's photo in tonite!)

The numbers are made with the Magical Days stamp set. I love the Cricut Artbooking cartridge- lots of the die cuts (like the arrows) come from that cartridge, along with many other great things to use on your pages cards and other projects!

I will be posting a page a day throughout December, so I hope you stop by again!
Please leave a comment with a link to your December Daily albums - I'd love to be inspired by your creativity!

Happy Day!

Time for Tea! (With a side of Blog Candy!!)

I have been busy over the past while playing with my new supplies - mostly making cards and Christmas treats!  I found a great little tea holder that I will be using as part of a teacher gift - I used the Frosty collection from CTMH and I am super happy with how it turned out!

And the top ( removable lid - so it is refillable!)

The template came from Vicki Wizniuk  - you can find it on her blog here!

Thanks for checking out my blog!  Remember if you become a follower  by November 30,
you will be entered to receive a little CTMH blog candy from me!

Happy Day!

Welcome to Paper Goodness!

Hi everyone!

It has been a while since I had a regular blog devoted to getting crafty!  I now have a little more time to devote to paper crafting and wanted to have a place to share my creations!  I also have recently become a consultant for Close to My Heart again after a 6 year hiatus, and this will provide a place for CTMH devotees to find unique ways to use the CTMH product line.  I won't be limiting myself to that, however - there is just so much paper goodness out there!

If you are interested in checking out my CTMH site, you can find it at papergoodness.ctmh.com. Lots of cute ideas for the holiday season - You can order online directly, host an online party for hostess credits, or contact me to arrange a gathering and I will come, bring a make and take and have some fun with a group of your friends!  So many ideas, so little time!!

I promise this won't be a place to hound you to buy!  I am more of a soft sell kinda gal, and as most of you know, what I really love is teaching!

I am thinking about offering some workshops/classes again - now that our beloved LSS Scrapbook Parade is closing I need a way to see some of my favourite crafty people!  Let me know what you think about this idea - or share your ideas with me!  I would love your feedback! Please email me or leave me a comment!

Looking forward to some creative time and a chance to share with you all!  Become a follower by November 30th and I will enter your name for a little CTMH prize - woohoo!

Happy Day,
Jacquelin
